For VEPSI, the path to a more sustainable world starts with education.
Our #VEPSIambassador program aims to support those who educate and inform others about the necessity to push for a sustainable fashion industry.
However, we also want to join forces with all consumers in the world by making sure a very real and concrete impact has been made as soon as you place orders on VEPSI.
An impact on our very vulnerable future: children all over the world.
#ACTLIKEAHERO since 2015
This is why, since its very beginning in 2015, VEPSI decided to work with the NGO Aide et Action, supporting education project for children all over the world. During every sustainable brands and influencers pop up we organized, we included a donation in each purchase made, allowing people to shop and contribute to a concrete change. This is how the #ACTLIKEAHERO spirit was born.
Today, with the launch of the VEPSI marketplace, this experience is now accessible to all and the impact is even more concrete.
For every purchase YOU make, WE deduce 10% from our own margins and donate it to our very own project with partner NGO: “A light for Africa”
#ACTLIKEAHERO: shopping and enlightening the children’s future
How does it work? Every time we have gathered 6000€, we electrify a primary school in Sub-Saharan Africa with a sustainable solar system.
Yes, it is as simple as that:
Thanks to your shopping, hundreds of children will be able to learn in more decent conditions, the school will be able to attract teachers back in villages as they will be able to do their job in better conditions, and the entire village benefits from the social impacts of such investment.
#ACTLIKEAHERO now: our next school is in Benin
We know how important it is to KNOW where your donations go and to be able to picture your impact. We make this possible: we are glad to inform you that the current school we aim to electrify is a rural primary school in Benin. Very soon, you will also be able to follow our progress towards the 6000€ goal.
You can find more information about the project and the used installations here.
